Bishop Auckland Town Hall with its theatre, gallery, library and café has undergone a major refurbishment programme and was due to fully reopen to the public earlier this year. Unfortunately, this has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, however, due to the easing of lockdown and the introduction of several safety measures, the new look café has been able to re-open.
